X-Box controller is very sloppy very poor control. Will try keyboard mouse to see if game is actually playable with the same control I had with PS1 and PS2. I use keyboard only, movement with right hand on a separated keypad, and attack, jump, crouch and run on D, W, A and SHIFT. The game feels extremely precise that way.
In some cases the double jump didn't work when Crash was above a TNT box or when Crash fell a little bit more into a hole before dying. Also, it seems like the jump physics changes in some situations. I also had a problem where the square button simply stoped working while I was in the game, but worked on the PS4 menu.

If you have a good graphics card you can increase the picture quality or if not you can just put the default settings . I recommend a USB or wired controller too .
