StandardAI can't even get up to castle age while I can get to imperial by 1 hour. Some of the players (I like to play 2 v 3) don't even have basic military buildings let alone stage an army. At one point I was like post imperial and two of the players were still at feudal without any military buildings. Thenew AI is optimized for the highest difficulty. It plays best on "Extreme". WhichAI difficulty? Definitive Edition. After playing aoe2 and HD for years and years single player. I'm used to AI being really quick, even on standard difficulty and will rapidly create large armies and then after the initial massive scuffles, everything dies down for a bit etc. I just played definitive and used 'Ai' not cd or HD and afterOnlyvideo I could find about HD vs. DE AI with youtuber named GamerZakh that is 26 minutes long with Malays vs. Malays (but actual duration is 45 minutes that is sped up to 26 minutes), but important to keep in mind this is only based on extreme difficulty settings and based on only one map type where it is only AI DE vs. HD, but no video I
